Caterina-Teodone and on via Lunes towards Perca, where we follow the sign to the sports ground. We pick up the cycle track there, passing the villages of Valdaora and Monguelfo, until we reach the turning towards Braies. Here we turn right into the valley and continue, riding on cycle tracks some of the time. At Ferrara, we turn right towards Lake Braies, which lies at the far end of the valley. The cycle tracks are intermittent and we cross the road several times. Once we have reached Lake Braies, one of the most beautiful lakes in South Tyrol, we can cool off in the fresh water, enjoy the sunshine and call into the inn.
