Brunico holiday apartments \u2013 discover the town!<\/h1>\n

Brunico, the main town of the Pustertal valley<\/strong>, is well worth visiting. In 2009 it was chosen as the small town with the best quality of life in Italy, and rightly so! You can explore it all from your holiday apartment, including the Brunecker Stadtgasse<\/strong>, one of the prettiest shopping streets<\/strong> in South Tyrol. It has quaint shops<\/strong> in colourful buildings with ornate gables, congenial cafes<\/strong> and a wide variety of restaurants<\/strong>. A potter around the old town is an experience in itself. Culture lovers can seek out the City Museum Brunico<\/strong>, in the restored building that once hosted the coaching stables. It houses the town\u2019s museum of graphic arts alongside temporary exhibitions. The people of the Pustertal valley are known to be very sociable and Brunico loves its celebrations in both summer and winter. You don\u2019t have to be a culture vulture to find plenty on offer here \u2013 town festivals<\/strong>, long summer evenings<\/strong>, concerts<\/strong> or theatre productions<\/strong> \u2013 and our holiday apartments are the ideal starting point!<\/p>\n

Insights into the world of farming<\/h2>\n

The folklore museum in Teodone<\/a>, only a few kilometres from Brunico, offers insights into farming culture. It centres on a baroque residence with stately rooms and folklore collections, while in the neighbouring farm building you can view a range of agricultural implements. There is also an open air site with old, original farmhouses and craft workshops, offering you a glimpse into the past.<\/p>\n

The Messner Mountain Museums in Brunico<\/h2>\n

Brunico Castle, once a bishop\u2019s residence, sits picturesquely on a hilltop above the town and houses Messner Mountain Museum<\/strong> RIPA, which gives a fascinating insight into the world\u2019s mountain people. MMM Corones<\/a>, another Messner Mountain Museum, is situated on Plan de Corones, Brunico\u2019s local mountain, and is a spectacular building designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid. It commands views to all points of the compass, from the Lienz Dolomites in the east to Mt.
