A stay on a farm with animals is a unique holiday experience! Many domestic and farm animals romp around in our barn – cows, hens and we sometimes even have rabbits hopping around our outdoor enclosure. Our cats have long since become much-loved family members. Farmer Herbert looks after our animal residents with great care. He will be pleased to introduce you to our colourful animal menagerie or show the children how to handle the animals.
Spend a farm holiday with our animals – it will be a memorable experience!
As an ark farm, we give a home to endangered animal breeds and ensure their survival. It is not only wild animals that are threatened with extinction – there are also many, mainly older breeds of domestic and farm animals that are under threat. If a breed that has been at home here for centuries were to disappear, then we would lose not only a valuable inheritance, but also a piece of living cultural history. As an ark farm we make an important contribution to the preservation of biodiversity – and you can get to know species such as the Pustertaler Sprinzen, a rare breed of cattle that you have probably never met before. Come and stay on our farm and be amazed by our animals!
Our young farmer Andreas is a qualified cycling guide. He can take you on guided rides and show you the best trails in the Pustertal valley; he also provides top-level cycle servicing directly at the farm.
Skiing on Plan de Corones, Brunico’s local mountain, a lively sledging party or an impressive ski tour on the snow of Valle Aurina – in the Pustertal valley, you can experience the best of winter both on and off the slopes.
Do you prefer a gentle hike in the alpine pastures or a climb up a 3,000 metre peak? There are countless opportunities to discover the mountains of South Tyrol from our farm.
